Storage Conditions Monitoring
SEZO UL is a battery-operated telemetric device for environmental measurements, together with a probe for measuring temperature and humidity of bulk materials. The device is currently under development.
SEZO UL is battery powered. The use of low power LoRaWAN technology extends the battery life of the device up to 5 years of SEZO UL use. This allows the device to be mounted in any place, even in a hard to reach.
It allows the devices to use unlicensed ISM band – which means no subscription fees are required. The devices using LoRaWAN send data either after being triggered by an event (e.g. movement, switching on the light) or based on a fixed schedule (e.g. every 15 minutes).
It enables easy USB configuration or device preconfiguration according to customer requirements. It is also possible to connect the device to another, already existing platform that your company uses, thanks to the possibility of easily establishing a network server, eg The Things Stack, Chirpstack. The decoder is available for download on github SEZO.
- SEZO UL monitors environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, light intensity and UV radiation.
- SEZO UL transmits data in user-defined intervals. Configuration of the device is performed via USB.
- SEZO UL can be used both indoors and outdoors – it operates without any interference at temperatures ranging from -30 to +60°C.
- LoRaWAN technology enables long-distance data transmission – the distance between the device and the gateway can be up to 10 km.
- The SEZO UL device is battery-powered, and thanks to the use of LoRaWAN technology for long-distance transmission, the life of SEZO UL batteries reaches even 5 years.
The SEZO UL device enables control of the environment on the premises, providing optimum storage conditions. This is particularly important in the case of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), such as packaged food, toiletries or beverages, where the appropriate temperature, humidity level or brightness of the rooms must be ensured.
The main module of the device responsible for measuring light intensity and UV radiation and radio communication can be installed in one of two possible positions. This gives the possibility of proper orientation of the UV sensor in relation to the radiation source.
Facility managers easily use SEZO UL and its functions, because the installation process is trouble-free. Thanks to the fact that the device is compact and battery-powered, it is enough to install it in a place where we want to monitor temperature, humidity or light level and the device is ready to work.
SEZO UL is able to send data via LoRaWAN to Orange Live Objects platform.
