Hatch and Door Monitoring Sensor
SEZO HM is a compact sensor designed for safeguarding critical technical infrastructure in both outdoor and indoor environments.
It provides anti-tamper and theft protection for:
- manhole covers,
- doors,
- gates,
and transmitting data to the user’s server. The device operates using LTE-M technology.
MONITORING HATCH OPENINGS
SEZO HM provides information on the opening of manhole covers, doors, and other structural partitions through the use of a limit switch on a cable. This enables the sensor to be used in hard-to-reach places, allowing for optimal placement of the switch for hatch or door monitoring and the sensor relative to the range of wireless communication. This advanced solution supports the management of urban, industrial, and retention infrastructure, ensuring reliability and efficiency in monitoring key access points.
LTE-M TECHNOLOGY
LTE-M is a low-power, long-range network specifically designed for IoT devices to connect directly to the 4G network. This technology supports high data transfer speeds, enabling real-time communication, ideally supporting asset monitoring.
Thanks to its performance, LTE-M is an excellent solution for a wide range of IoT applications, providing a reliable connection even in difficult conditions.
PLATFORM INTEGRATION
SEZO HM is fully integrated with the Orange™ Live Objects platform, facilitating the viewing and analysis of data collected by the device. Configuration can be performed remotely configuring the device on the platform according to customer requirements. Additionally it is also possible to connect SEZO HM to other existing platforms, which is possible thanks to the ability to easily set the network server setting. The decoder is available for download on SEZO’s GitHub platform.

- Opening status, e.g. of a manhole cover (open/closed) or the ability to detect the liquid level in the tank using a float.

Function Description:
- Hatch Opening: Thanks to the limit switch on a cable, the device provides information about the opening of a hatches or doors, which allows installation in hard-to-reach places. It is also possible to replace the limit switch with a float.
- Anti-Tamper: The device is equipped with a mechanism for detecting tampering attempts, which increases its safety and reliability.
